            The short version: Business Ledger runs entirely on your computer. We don't collect, access, or store your business data. Ever.
        

1. Data You Enter in Business Ledger

All data you enter into Business Ledger (customers, transactions, invoices, etc.) is stored locally on YOUR computer in a SQLite database file. This data:

Never leaves your computer
Is never transmitted to our servers
Is never shared with third parties
Is never used for analytics or advertising

We have no access to your business data. Period.

2. Data We Collect (Website & Purchases)

When you interact with our website or make a purchase, we collect:

Contact form submissions: Name, email, business name, message
Purchase information: Name, email, payment details (processed by Stripe)

This information is used solely to:

Deliver your license key and download link
Respond to your inquiries
Provide customer support

3. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment transactions: stripe.com/privacy

4. Cookies

Our website does not use tracking cookies or analytics. We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking tools.

5. Data Retention

We retain your purchase records (name, email, license key) indefinitely to provide ongoing support and verify license ownership. Contact form submissions are retained for 2 years.

6. Your Rights

You may request:

A copy of the data we have about you
Correction of inaccurate data
Deletion of your data (note: this may void your license)

7. Children's Privacy

Business Ledger is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
